A Twentynine Palms gang member was arrested early Monday morning for violating the terms of his parole by associating with a known gang member. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy made a traffic stop about 1:30 a.m. Monday morning near Utah Trail and Cottonwood Drive in Twentynine Palms. Inside the vehicle were two men, including Dandre Barrow, 41. Barrow is on parole for a 2015 conviction of burglary and participating in a street gang, and a condition of his parole is to not associate with known street gang members. Both Barrow and the other man with him are confirmed members of the Piru street gang, based out of Los Angeles. Dandre Barrow was arrested on suspicion of violating the terms of his parole, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held without bail.
