The Twentynine Palms food pantry has food available for residents of Twentynine Palms, the Combat Center, and Wonder Valley. To register to receive food, residents need to bring a photo ID, Social Security card for every household member, and proof of residency. The food pantry’s hours are 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and the first Saturday of each month. It is also open the second and fourth Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The free USDA surplus food give-away is Tuesday, February 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. The food pantry is located at 6450 Stardune Avenue in Twentynine Palms.
