A ribbon cutting and grand opening for a new community garden is set for Saturday, March 16, in Twentynine Palms. The garden is at 72348 Larrea Avenue, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. There will be a composting workshop, food, and more. The event starts at noon. The garden is sponsored by San Bernardino County and Reach Out Yucca Valley. For more information, call 760-365-7130.
