The Twentynine Palms City Council has moved the location of their upcoming city council meeting due to expectations of significant meeting attendance. The city council will hold a public hearing during their upcoming meeting to consider adopting an urgency ordinance which would establish a moratorium on the acceptance of new Vacation Home Rental applications in the city. To accommodate for the many people expected to attend the meeting, the city has announced that the meeting has been moved to the multi-purpose room of Twentynine Palms High School. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday (August 24).
