The Twentynine Palms City Council will consider a smorgasbord of issues at its regular meeting tonight.
Among other things, the Council will hold a public hearing on a proposed new levy assessment for lighting and landscaping, hear a report on the allowance of short-term vacation home rentals in the city, consider shutting down a public education and government cable channel, and look at purchasing additional properties in furtherance of Project Phoenix.
The Council will also hear a special presentation by Congressman Paul Cook.
Tonight’s meeting gets underway 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
