A Twentynine Palms City Council member says goodbye tonight.
Cora Heiser, who did not run for re-election in November, will make her departing remarks at Tuesday’s regular City Council meeting as Steve Bilderain, newly elected to fill her seat, and returning Councilman Joel Klink are sworn in.
Also speaking will be Mayor Dan Mintz, who is ending his term. The Council will then select a new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem to serve for the coming year.
The meeting gets underway 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
