The Twentynine Palms City Council will start its May 12 meeting with a resolution in support of the Hi-Desert Memorial Health Care District. In subsequent discussions, the Council will direct staff to comment on the BLM’s recently-issued West Mojave plan, and will review the preliminary special funds budget.
There will also be a public hearing on the adoption of an ordinance on Single Room Occupancy facilities into the development code, and another about changes in the rules about commercial vehicle parking. On the consent agenda, City Manager Frank Luckino will be given a second hat to wear, as the city treasurer. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in City Hall on Adobe Road.
