The Twentynine Palms City Council has a single item on its action agenda for the Tuesday September 23 meeting. According to the meeting notice, the Interim City Manager Andy Takata will be given an initial combined budget of $27,000 for the dual purposes. Items of interest on the consent agenda are approval of the installation of several Simi Dabah sculptures on the median of National Park Drive; awarding of a grading contract for Knott’s Sky Park; and an updated facility license agreement with Theatre 29, with clauses added pertaining to responsibility for cleaning the property. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in City Hall on Adobe Road.
