Tonight, the Twentynine Palms City Council will open up chamber doors to the public for the first time in weeks. Agenda items include a discussion around the master fee schedule from the citywide user fee study as well as removing certain fees in the Development Code.

The council will also select two council members to serve as delegate and alternate delegate for the Southern California Association of Governments annual general assembly.

Finally, the council will be updated on the “new normal” regarding City functions—meetings, summer activities, holiday events, field operations, City Hall operations, Animal Control, COVID-19 legislative updates, governmental reimbursements and budget updates.

Tonight’s meeting will take place at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road, at 6 p.m. Livestreaming and recorded options are still available at the city’s website, 29palms.org.
