Tonight, the Twentynine Palms City Council will meet to discuss the proposal that the city enter into a service contract with Climatec to handle energy efficiency projects for the city, including LED lighting, solar PV systems, wi-fi networks and irrigation controllers. The city is working with IBANK, a State funding program, to provide financing.
Furthermore, the council will recommend approval of the submission of the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to address the planning and development of the centralized wastewater and sewer system for the city. Tonight’s meeting gets underway 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
