The Twentynine Palms City Council meeting on April 23 has three items on its agenda for the closed session that starts at 5 p.m.: a performance evaluation for the city attorney, a potential case of litigation against the state Department of Finance, and a discussion of the City Manager position. In the 6 p.m. open session, public hearings are scheduled on Development Code amendments on time extensions for tentative tract maps and appeals procedures. Also on the agenda are discussions about the City Clerk’s job description and compensation, term dates for planning commissioners, the disposition of the Hogle-Ireland consulting contract, the status of the development code update, and a presentation about the right of way of a portion of Diamond Bar Road crossing Roadrunner Dunes golf course.
