Following a closed session at 5:15 p.m. to confer on two cases of potential litigation and to talk about recruitment of a City Manager, the Twentynine Palms City Council will start the 6 p.m. open session on November 12. One public hearing is about an appeal of the Planning Commission’s decision to require the developers of “Ridge at Twentynine Palms” to have an environmental impact report prepared. Another hearing is about a proposed “mobile home-commercial tourist” overlay district covering the Twentynine Palms RV Resort.
