Tonight, the Twentynine Palms City Council will meet to discuss Mithun’s contract for the Pioneer Park Master Plan, a contract with Terra Nova for the required Pioneer Park environmental study, a contract with The Van Dyke Corporation for the Animal Control Septic Tank upgrade, and the Burrtec Contract Amendment regarding proposed residential and commercial rates for solid waste handling services.
The Council will also review a revised letter of intent with Joshua Tree National Park regarding the proposed Visitor Center and will consider the Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Plan through Mojave Water Agency (MWA) for the Colorado Region.
There will be discussion on the proposed plan for the renovation of Knott’s Sky Park, and likely approval on the resolution for Prop 68 park bond funding.
The meeting may also include discussion on the designation of a delegate and alternate delegate for the League of California Cities’ annual conference.
The meeting will wrap up with a Project Phoenix Cultural and Visitor Center and multi-purpose building design workshop.
The meeting starts tonight at 6 p.m. at Twentynine Palms City Hall on Adobe Road.
