After an award to the Twentynine Palms High School girls’ basketball team for participation in the Cash for Trash program, the Council faces a relatively short agenda. Among items of interest, the council will authorize the purchase of a $50,000 Ford F-450 pickup truck. A public hearing will be held on undergrounding the utilities along State Route 62 between Mesquite Springs Road and Pine Avenue. The Council is expected to terminate a contract with the Twentynine Palms Water District and plan a future strategic planning workshop.
