Low income housing is on tonight’s agenda of the Twentynine Palms City Council. Specifically, the question of how to include it in Project Phoenix, the city’s multi-million-dollar renovation of its downtown business corridor along Highway 62. The city council is being asked to provide direction.
Also under discussion is a request to waive a $2,500 application fee for a proposed expansion of the Twentynine Palms Historical Society’s Old School House Museum, and proposed amendments to the city’s building codes.
It all gets underway 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
