TWENTYNINE PALMS CITY COUNCIL MEETS: LOW INCOME HOUSING, PROJECT PHOENIX

The Twentynine Palms City Council meets tonight in regular session. Reporter David Haldane takes a peek at the agenda…
Low income housing is on tonight’s agenda of the Twentynine Palms City Council. Specifically, the question of how to include it in Project Phoenix, the city’s multi-million-dollar renovation of its downtown business corridor along Highway 62. The city council is being asked to provide direction.
Also under discussion is a request to waive a $2,500 application fee for a proposed expansion of the Twentynine Palms Historical Society’s Old School House Museum, and proposed amendments to the city’s building codes.
It all gets underway 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
