Tonight, the Twentynine Palms City Council will gather to address several agenda items, such as the Public Arts Advisory Committee Budget. For the fiscal year 2018/2019, the budget was $13,000. There is a proposed budget increase for 2020/21 fiscal year, which would take it to $15,000.
The council will also discuss the designation of a delegate and an alternate delegate for the Southern California Association of Governments’ annual general assembly to be held on May 2 and 3.
Furthermore, the council will suggest a reappointment to the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District Board. Councilmember Karmolette O’Gilvie was the representative but due to work conflicts, she cannot attend the quarterly meetings in Victorville.
The meeting tonight starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms.
