The Twentynine Palms City Council will discuss the practice of invocations before meetings at its November 12 meeting. Also up for discussion is the selection of firms for on-call environmental consulting. The candidate firms, selected from applicants for the role, are Terra Nova (recently identified in a story on Z107.7 as the design consultant for a proposed housing development in Joshua Tree), ESA, and LSA. A public hearing will deal with a Nuisance Abatement Lien, on a property on whose cleanup the City has spent over $8,000. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
