When is a public meeting neither “regular” nor “special”? Reporter Dan Stork has the answer to the riddle: it applies to a meeting tonight of the Twentynine Palms City Council…
In a meeting that is technically a continuation of last week’s regular meeting that was adjourned to February 18, the Twentynine Palms City Council will hold a closed meeting in its quest to select a permanent city manager. Unlike the February 6 closed meeting, which was agendized simply as “Public Employment–City Manager,” the item description this time is “Consideration of Appointment and Approval of Contract for City Manager.” The session begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
