TWENTYNINE PALMS CITY COUNCIL HONORS COMBAT CENTER’S JIM RICKER, MAY CHANGE EL PASEO DRIVE

Among the presentations at the July 28 meeting of the Twentynine Palms City Council are one by Hi-Desert Medical Center board member Martie Avels on the transfer to Tenet Healthcare, and a legislative update by Assemblyman Chad Mayes. The discussion topics are:

  • The I-10 closure (the agenda was published before the road was re-opened);
  • Planning Commission stipends;
  • The Community Reinvestment Program;
  • City employee pension contribution deduction;
  • a possible future renaming of El Paseo Drive.

The Council meeting starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
