Tapping into funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the council also approved the expenditure of $110,000 for the construction of the Amboy Bike Path. Scheduled two years ago, the project was delayed due to the pandemic. The Type 2 bike path – meaning it abuts the roadway with travel in both directions separated by striping – will begin at Utah Trail and end at Sunmore Parkway. The path should be completed in less than a week.
