A joint workshop meeting of the Twentynine Palms City Council and Water District Directors has been called for Monday evening, September 8, at 6 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to come up with an agenda for a subsequent joint meeting. The meeting notice does not indicate the topics of mutual interest, but the future and financial support of the Fire Department is certainly the issue. The meeting, which will be open to public comment, will be held in the Community Services Building, 74325 Joe Davis Drive, across from Luckie Park.
