Santa Claus will make a visit to Twentynine Palms Tuesday, following the lighting of the city’s Christmas Tree in Veterans’ Park. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with opening remarks by Mayor Dan Mintz, followed by singing by the choir from the Spirit and Truth Worship Center. Twentynine Palms firefighters will deliver Santa on board their fire engine about 6 p.m., followed by the tree lighting and photos with Santa. Light refreshments will be served.
