The Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce is seeking an executive director, according to a Chamber press release. The executive director reports directly to the president of the Chamber of Commerce and to the Board of Directors, and is responsible for the day-today management and operations of the Chamber. The executive director guides Chamber staff and acts as a liaison between the board of directors, membership, and the community at large. The executive director represents the Chamber and the City of Twentynine Palms at professional meetings, events, committees and in other capacities. The position requires organizational/management skills, public relations skills, communication skills, budgetary/financial experience and the ability to work independently.
