To honor our military veterans, wreaths will be laid at cemeteries across the nation tomorrow, December 14, in the 10th annual National Wreaths Across America Day. Locally, the Twentynine Palms Cemetery will participate in this event, called “Everyone Plays a Part,” for the first time. The cemetery will join the more than 1,400 participating locations and more than a million volunteers across the country also participating at the same time.
The official ceremony begins at noon and the pubic is encouraged to attend. The Twentynine Palms Cemetery is located at 5350 Encelia in Twentynine Palms.
