TWENTYNINE PALMS BUDGET PUBLIC FORUM TOMORROW NIGHT

The Twentynine Palms City Council will host a public forum to discuss the upcoming City Budget during its next regular meeting tomorrow night beginning at 6 p.m., at Twentynine Palms City Hall. The public forum will provide an opportunity for local residents, groups, organizations, and community stakeholders to express their ideas and provide input into the Draft Budget for fiscal year 2013-2014, before the budget is presented to the City Council. Comments and suggestions can be directed to items such as City services, parks, streets, buildings, programs, activities, or capital projects. The forum will be held as a public hearing during the meeting. City Manager Richard Warne said, “The City will not present any revenue or expenditure numbers at this meeting; this is an opportunity to listen to the people.” For more information about the meeting, contact Twentynine Palms City Hall, 760-367-6799, or go to www.29palms.org.
