The Twentynine Palms Boys Basketball team clinched their second consecutive Desert Valley League Championship on Friday night, with a 69-63 home victory over the Banning Broncos to improve to 8-0 on the season, and a perfect 7-0 in DVL play.
Senior Jacob Hueso finished the night with 20 points, 6 assists and 5 steals.
Senior Israel Goldsmith finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Josh Herne and Dynamite Krough chipped in with 9 points each.
The Wildcats head into CIF playoff selection Sunday ranked #4 in Division 4A and should host a 1st round playoff game this Wednesday in the Richard Casey Memorial Gymnasium. Opponent and time to be released Sunday at noon.
