The Public Arts Advisory Committee or PAAC of the City of Twentynine Palms has announced the recipients of the 2019 Youth and the Arts program grants. With the list of recipients here’s Rebecca Havley …
The Youth and the Arts grants support programs that give Twentynine Palms youth experiences in a variety of the arts.
The recipients are: Theatre 29 for training in the theatre arts with its Summer Youth Theatre program;
the Action Council for Twentynine Palms for the Youth Chalk Art Workshop;
the 29 Palms Art Gallery for its spring/summer youth art education program;
the 29 Palms Creative Center for its summer art camps and spring Kids Art Club programs which include Marine base students;
Joshua Tree National Park Council for the Arts for the free youth art classes at the JTNP Art Exposition;
and the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council for its Youth Art Show, which includes home-schooled students.
