TWENTYNINE PALMS ART GALLERY OPENS MAY SHOW WITH SATURDAY RECEPTION

Featured in the 29 Palms Art Gallery’s west wing in May is the nail art of John Henson. His show, titled “Hammered,” features art made from nails and assemblages.

Denise Tanguay’s show of pastels on plywood, drawings, and assemblage wall hangings, called “Lost and Found” is featured in the east room. Also featured in the east wing are the pastel paintings and mixed media words of Jennifer Grandi, called “Things I See in the Desert.” An opening reception is set for Saturday, May 1, from 5 to 7 p.m., but the gallery will be open Saturday from 11 to 7. Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays. The 29 Palms Art G\gallery is 74055 Cottonwood Drive.
