The 29 Palms Art Gallery Auction is back. For the first time in four years they will host a live spring art auction, “Shamrocks in the Desert.” Reporter Rebecca Havely has all the details…
On Saturday, March 19, art supporters, artists, contributors, patrons and community members are invited to join in the festivities for an entertaining evening “Shamrocks in the Desert,” a live art auction that supports the 29 Palms Art Gallery. Don’t miss this special evening and the chance to purchase rare historic pieces from private collections and contemporary art by significant artists living in the community. Social hour begins at 4 p.m. and silent auction browsing begins with wine, hors d’oeuvres, coffee and dessert. At 6 p.m. the live auction begins with guest auctioneer Larry Bowden, featuring some of the Hi-Desert’s favorite artists. There’s an intermission at 7:15 and it concludes at 9 pm. Admission is $10 per person and includes two drink tickets and a paddle. Tickets are limited, so advance purchase is recommended. The 29 Palms Art Gallery is located at 74055 Cottonwood Drive, off National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms.
