Community fireworks displays are planned for both the Town of Yucca Valley and the City of Twentynine Palms. In Yucca Valley, the Brehm Youth Sports Park fields on Little League drive will open at 6:00 with vendors, food, and entertainment. The fireworks, with synchronized background music provided live on the air by Z107.7, will fire off at 9:00. The Morongo Basin’s largest Fourth of July fireworks show will be held in Twentynine Palms at Luckie Park. The Luckie Park pool will be open 1 to 5 p.m., and again from 6 to 8 p.m. There will also be a children’s area with water slides and a bounce house. The local band Desert Sol will perform Motown hits, R&B, and patriotic songs starting at 6:30 p.m. Food and beverage vendors will open their booths at 6 p.m. Z107.7 will play music throughout the afternoon, and will broadcast music during the fireworks show. The fireworks start at 9 p.m.
