TWENTYNINE PALM PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVES CHURCH USE OF A FORMER NIGHT CLUB

During a 19-minute, online meeting, the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission unanimously approved plans for the Potter’s Church. The Board agreed there was sufficient parking, and the applicant agreed to submit plans for new signage and landscaping. There was no public comment.

In addition, Committee Chairman Greg Mendoza told the commission, via telephone, that work on Project Phoenix, a community center and affordable housing project, was on schedule despite the statewide Stay at Home order.
