Turkeys will be given away today to 500 families in need at Joshua Tree Elementary School. The turkey giveaway is being put on by the San Bernardino County’s Community Action Partnership in collaboration with the Joshua Tree Sportsman’s Club.
Holiday boxes and turkeys will be given to 500 families on a first come, first serve basis.
Families must meet income eligibility requirements and be a resident of San Bernardino County.
The giveaway begins at 10 a.m. at Joshua Tree Elementary School, located at 4950 Sunburst Ave in Joshua Tree.
