Happy Halloween! Here in the high desert, there are a number of free “trunk or treat” events in which costumed kids can collect candy from elaborately decorated automobiles.
A Halloween Extravaganza, which includes a craft fair, pumpkin carving contest, costume contests, and a “Trunk or Treat,” runs all day today (October 30) at Covington Park, 11165 Vale Drive in Morongo Valley. Trunk or treating begins from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The JT Sportmans Club at 6225 Sunburst St in Joshua Tree is hosting a “Trunk or Treat” from 5 p.m. to 8.
Tomorrow night (October 31) there will be a “Trunk or Treat” at the Palms Baptist Church, 5285 Adobe Road, in Twentynine Palms from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30. Another “Trunk or Treat” will be held at the Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel, located at 57373 Joshua Lane in Yucca Valley, beginning at 5:30 p.m. And one more “Trunk or Treat” will be hosted by the Crossview Bible Church, at 56374 Onaga Trail in Yucca Valley at 6 p.m.
