TRUCK STRIPPING CALL LEADS TO WARRANT ARREST

Deputies who were called to investigate a possible abandoned pick-up truck that was being stripped for parts ended up arresting a Landers man on a drug warrant. About 4:45 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to the area of Lear Avenue and Two Mile Road in Twentynine Palms where a witness said a man was stripping the Chevy Tahoe for parts. Arriving deputies contacted Andrew Dunn, 44, and determined that Dunn had an active felony warrant for his arrest. Andrew Dunn was arrested for his no-bail warrant and booked into the West Valley Detention Center. The 1997 black Chevy Tahoe was towed.
