A suspected drunk driver caused extensive damage to a business when she crashed into a building in downtown Twentynine Palms late Wednesday night. About 11:30 p.m., Ginger Carlone, 30, was driving on Adobe Road when she lost control of her pick-up truck and crashed into Jeanine Beauty Supply in the 6400 block of Adobe Road. Carlone fled the scene, but was located at her residence in the 6100 block of Bagley Avenue in Twentynine Palms. Ginger Carlone was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and hit and run, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and was released Thursday morning. Jeanine’s Beauty Supply was red tagged. 29 Paws Pet Grooming and Supplies remains open and was NOT red tagged.
