The varsity Trojan Football Team traveled to Thermal to take on the Desert Mirage Rams last Friday (October 15). The Trojans won 67 to 0 with a running clock the entire second half.
Offensively, Stephon Rogers scored 2 rushing touchdowns followed by Michael Ramos and Seth Storm who each had a rushing touchdown. Javin Hudson had two receiving touchdowns and Malachi Harper had one receiving touchdown all thrown by quarterback Michael Ramos.
Defensively, Javin Hudson had two interceptions for touchdowns and AJ Carlos had a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
AJ Carlos was 4 for 4 on point-after attempts.
History was made when Eden Ricketts came into the game and kicked three extra points in the game, making her the first varsity female player to score for the Trojans.
The JV Trojan football team won 42-6. Touchdowns scored by Anthony Love, Mario Rabaneles, Aiden Possehl, and Noah Hall.
The Trojans will host Cathedral City on Friday, October 22 for senior night. JV Kickoff is at 4 p.m. and varsity kickoff is at 7 p.m.
