The Yucca Valley High School Trojan varsity soccer team played at Twentynine Palms High School Friday night (January 28), winning 2-0. The first goal was scored by Senior Striker Logan Barth, with an assist from Senior Captain Griffin Hilderbrand. The second goal of the match was scored by Senior Midfielder Joshua Pierce from an assist by Senior Defender Stephen Goddard. The player of the match was Senior Defender Stephen Goddard, who always plays hard, has a very positive attitude and his plays made the difference in the Trojan victory.
The Trojans look forward to hosting the Wildcats again tonight (January 31) at home, where they will honor their seniors and compete for the Elks Cup Trophy.
