The Yucca Valley High School boys soccer team faced Desert Hot Springs High School in an away game on Friday night (January 21), defeating the Golden Eagles 2 to 1.
Both Trojan goals were scored by Senior Striker Logan Barth, and one assist from Senior Sebastian Hill. The players of the match were Senior Goalkeeper and team Captain Landon Gradilla who had 15 saves and kept the Trojans in the game with his skill and his leadership, and Senior Logan Barth who scored both goals and worked hard while also having a very positive attitude. Next up for the Trojans is a match-up at Indio High School today. Junior varsity plays at 4 p.m. and varsity at 5:30 p.m.
