The Yucca Valley High School girls’ varsity tennis team beat Desert Mirage 14-4.
Coach Cindy Miller said the stats are: In singles Abby Aubuchon 6-0, 6-2, 6-2, McKayla Henry 6-1, 6-4,6-0, and Catherine Jones 6-3.
In doubles, Mckenzi Monical and Rylie Rohr 6-4, 6-1, 6-0, Alex Costa and Jadya Henry 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 and Rachelle Henriquez and Kennia Torres 2-6, 6-1, 6-0. Miller said, “The team is looking really good. The team is now 4-1 and is in second place.”
The team’s next game is tomorrow against Cathedral City at home. Start time is 3:15 p.m.
