The Yucca Valley High School girls varsity tennis team beat Coachella Valley; it was a 9-9 tie but 71-67 in points.
Coach Cindy Miller said all the girls played really well.
In singles, Abby Aubuchon 6-2; McKayla Henry 6-1; and Eden Ricketts 6-3.
In doubles Mckenzi Monical and Rylie Rohr went 6-3, 6-0, 6-1. Alex Costa and Jayda Henry 6-0, 6-1 and Rachelle Henriquez and Kennia Torres 6-1. Miller said, “The whole team played great. After the first loss of the season to Coachella Valley, the girls worked really hard in practice to get this win today. We are now tied for first place with Coachella Valley. Great WIN!!!!”
