TROJAN SOCCER FALLS TO INDIO

The Yucca Valley High School boys’ soccer team fell to Indio High School yesterday (January 24). Junior Varsity lost 4 to 0 and played a well-organized team. The Trojans played hard until the end but came up short. The player of the match was freshman Defender Alexander Kompier, he plays hard, never gives up, and leads by example.

Varsity lost 4 to 1. Senior Captain Goalkeeper Landon Gradilla had another great game with 14 saves. The player of the match was Senior Captain Griffin Hilderbrand, he always plays hard, leads his teammates, and has a great attitude.

The Trojans look forward to their next game at Twentynine Palms High School this Friday. Varsity plays at 5 p.m.
