The Yucca Valley High School Trojans golf team posted a team score of 228 at Sun Lakes Golf Course to defeat the Banning Broncos today. The Yucca Valley golf team is now 11-0 in DVL play and 20-1 on the season.
Coach Jeff Evans said low scores for the day were turned in by Josh Pierce(43), Gauge Kime(45), Larry Tyerman(45) and Luke Yakimow(45). “I’m very proud of the accomplishments of this team. We have really played consistent golf throughout this season and the players seem to be having a lot of fun during the matches.” The Trojan travel tomorrow to Rancho Mirage High School. The match will be played at the Gary Player Course at Mission Hills. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:45 p.m.
