The Yucca Valley High School golf team lost to Beaumont High School by four strokes.
Low score honors went to freshman Josh Pierce. He carded a score of 45. Coach Jeff Evans said the Yucca Valley golf team is now 5-1 on the season and 1-0 in DVL play. The team plays Indio High School tomorrow, at Hawks Landing Golf Course. The match begins at 2:45 p.m.
