TROJAN GOLF TEAM BEATS WEST VALLEY WITH SEASON-LOW SCORE OF 199

The Trojan golf team shot a season low team score of 199 to beat West Valley.

Coach Jeff Evans noted low individual scores for the day were turned in by Gauge Kime (even par 36), Josh Pierce (39), Luke Yakimaw (40), Larry Tyerman (41) and a career low for Marissa Lindley (43). The YV golf team is now 8-1 on the season and 3-0 in DVL play.

Evans said, “It was a lot of fun watching our players today. They stayed focused for the entire match and played their hearts out. Time will tell what these young players are truly capable of achieving on the golf course”
