The Yucca Valley High School golf team beat Indio High School yesterday, 218-288.
Coach Jeff Evans said Gauge Kime carded the low match score of the day, posting an even par score of 36. This score of 36 was a career low for Gauge in a competitive high school match.
Also playing well were Larry Tyerman, who shot 41 and Josh Pierce, also with a score of 41.
Yucca Valley Golf is now 6-1 overall and 2-0 in Desert Valley League play.
