TROJAN BASEBALL BEATS DESERT MIRAGE

In high school sports, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan baseball team got back on track with a big win against Desert Mirage by a score of 11-3. 

Coach Josh Griswold said sophomore Seth Snead had a big day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs batted in. Junior Braden Brimhall hit his first home run. Junior Jack Melvin came in as an injury replacement to go 1-for-3, driving in three runs. Senior Brandon Goodpaster pitched a complete game, striking out six Rams in seven innings, and allowing only two earned runs.
