Tri-Valley Little League has extended the deadline to sign up for its softball leagues. Registration is being held today (February 19) at the Little League park in Yucca Valley for girls ages 9 to 11 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.; and 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday for girls aged 9 to 16. Registration for all ages, including those who are younger than 8 years old, will be held Saturday, February 22 and February 29, from noon to 2 p.m. The registration fee is $110, although scholarships may be available. Girls should bring a birth certificate, photo ID, and proof of residence when registering. Practices begin March 9 with the first games March 23. Or register online at trivalleylittleleague.com.
