The Tri-Valley Little League 9-and 10-year-old girls are the best in the state, after they won the state championship against Crescenta Valley Sunday night. The girls beat Crescenta Valley Wednesday during the state play-offs, and then beat them again Sunday, 16 to 13, for the state championship. The all-star team of 10 girls are undefeated, 9-and-0, in post-season play. Team members are: Shannon Batts, Alyssa Lynch, Maile Long, Gracie Nelson, Savannah Earnshaw, Abby Buras, Summer Nelson, Montana Rowe-Etter, Rylie Rohr, and Brianna Etter. The girls are coached by Kelby Rohr, Ernesto Gamboa, and Joey Etter.
