Experienced volleyball players from Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley, and Joshua Tree join together to play on the Morongo Volleyball Club or MVC, around southern California volleyball centers in places such as Huntington Beach, San Diego, Corona, etc. The team meets up at the Yucca Valley gym every Sunday and occasionally on Fridays from 1 to 3 p.m. or 3:30 to 5 p.m. There are three categories which vary in age: the 14U, 15U, and the 18U where the “U” stands for under. Each member of the team is given a specialized position and practice with the coach, Mrs. Ogden, to improve their position. The next game will be on March 16, approximately 7:15 a.m. at the Alliant University in San Diego. The team as a whole continues to improve in skill and work hard for that win.
