If you are interested in addressing some of today’s economic, social, and environmental challenges, reporter Mike Lipsitz says Transition Joshua Tree may be for you…
Transition Joshua Tree holds its quarterly meeting and potluck on Sunday, September 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Coffee House on the highway near Kickapoo. Transition Joshua Tree is the local branch of an international movement that aims to address the economic, social and environmental challenges at our doorstep. The evening begins with the potluck followed by an hour in which visitors can further explore the different groups of Transition Joshua Tree. Each group will have a table setup to answer questions and provide information on their respective mission. Like all Transition events, the public is welcome to join in. This is a no waste event, so bring your own eating service along with a dish to share at the potluck. For more information, email [email protected].
